2nd match: hhh def. umaga
3rd match: hhh def. randy [new champ].

I'm confused can someone tell me who finally is the champ and why were there 2 matches for the wwe championship?

vince gave the title to orton at the beginning of the show then triple h came out insulted vince mcmahons grape fruits and said they were tiny raisins and then gave him a title shot against orton and then won by a roll up and then vince said the match that u were originally in with umaga is going to happen and ur defending your title and then he faced umaga and hit a pedigree for the win...then vince said orton is putting in his rematch in his contract and then faced triple h in a last man standing match...he hit the rko on the table and it was over....new champ triple h....3 champs in one night....history making 11 time champ hhh and 3 time champ randy orton twice in one night...

Actually it was:
1. Mr McMahon awarded WWE Championship to Randy Orton
2. Triple H defeated Randy Orton (Triple H wins title)
3. Triple beat Umaga (Triple H still champion)
4. Randy Orton defeated Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match (Randy Orton regains title)
There was 3 matches for the championship, not just two.

when vince mcmahon handed randy the wwe championship,
he was asked to choose who he wanted to defend the title against.
triple h came out and challenged him to a match,
and it began right there. so that was the first match between randy and triple h.triple h won the match, then later on had to defend the title against umaga. he won that match too(2nd HHH match)
towards the end of the show, mr mcmahon told triple h that orton wasn't satisfied and wanted a rematch with him, and that it was going to be a last man standing match.(3rd HHH match)randy won this match, and so the wwe champion is now RKO

Randy was award the wwe championship, challenged right after by triple H, lost 2 triple h who then faces umaga, and then faces triple h again and win, therefore randy the new wwe champ
