I have a quad core CPU and... WHAT THE HE LL is the point of getting an awsome CPU when u have to buy a PPU that costs the same amount and ur CPU stays on the same load?

So im asking, is there a way to emulate the presence of a physix card but offload the calculations onto the CPU? (ive got UT3 demo (it comes with physiX) and it runs at 100fps and cant turn physics on properly, i wouldnt mind the fps hit, anything above 40fps is good)

Is there a Physix card emulator out?

Well, there really wasn't much point spending that much money on the CPU is physics performance was what you wanted. No emulators out there, sorry but if you want the performance then you need to get a physics card.

Here is one on newegg:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143055 not quite as expensive as you might have thought, honestly I don't usually recommend them since so few games support them, but UT3 does support it, and it adds a pretty good amount to the game, so you might wanna pick one up.
