I always want to know! When they do the ultrasound & ask me if I want to know the sex "yes" pops right out of my mouth. Plus I like planning the name and buying clothes & decorating the room, picking the theme, etc.... Some will work for both sexes I know, but when I had my girls, I picked really girly ones & same for when I had my boys..... It would be extremely exciting to wait until the day & hear the dr say "it's a xxxx!" I've never experienced it after having 4 kids because I always had to know!

I wanted to know. When the OB did an ultra-sound, he asked if we wanted to know, and said we had a boy. When I asked how could he tell, the OB said he(my future son) was holding on to something between his legs, lol. Still have an enlarged picture of that. Good blackmail photo when he becomes a teen-ager!!

i'd be like "for the millionth time no, you have to wear a condom" and "no, getting married at the little white chapel with elvis as our witness would not be funny!" but for real, my boyfriend has never said any of those things, and if yours has, i'd probably be a little creeped out if i were you. I would want to know so i can get the babies room set up.. plus i would hate the suspense.. waiting 9months to have it is bad enough, not knowing it would drive me nuts!

for practical reasons, i want to know the gender
so i know which colors of clothes to buy or decorate the baby's room with...
but if you want it to be a surprise, you can buy green and red items.. its a unisex color.

I want to know so I can know:
what items to buy (toys, clothes, etc.. for girls? or boys?), what his/her room will look like (boyish room or girlish?),
what his/her special and unique name will be,
and how are we going to spend time and play with him/her(play with skateboard or play with dollhouse?).
