Yes it is very possible for this to occur as certain types of clouds will pick up water from ponds, streams etc. and will drop whatever they picked up from these waters when they drop the water which is rain. This is a layman's answer for you. When I was in Thailand in the late sixties this happened at an airbase I was stationed at, only it was small fish. (minnows)

Yes, As you know the strong thunderstorms form when there is a strong updraft wind( linfting action) with sufficient moisture present and that is the time when cumulus clouds form. this strong updraft winds can take everything on the surface which is light, that is the reason when frogs come down from the other part of the thunderstorm when the updrafts switched to downdrafts.
I also found a webpage so that you can see the pictures of updrafts, and downdrafts when they occur: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderstorms

Yes. This has even happened in Great Britain from time to time. Water spouts have sucked up water from swamps and it has rained frogs and small fish in some towns.

Probably they were the unfortunate residents of a small pond that got sucked up by a dust devil or tornado, moved a few miles and then dropped.

it has been recorded of that happening even small fish have been found after a heavy rain they say it has something to do with the water riseing into the clouds and picking them up and rainning them down

They are called water spouts. They are like tornadoes but they will suck up water from a pond, lake, or ocean---what goes up must come down.
