I'm applying for a scholarship that is asking me to write an essay that is 7800 characters long. THe prompt that i'm answering is asking me about which subjects i have excelled in and what i can attribute them to, but the problem is, i dont really know how to talk that much about what i am into. What should i write about to cover all 7800 characters?
the subjects in which i have excelled are band and english.

It's not really that many characters once you get to writing.
How about exciting, funny, or unusual things that have happened on the road to festivals, sports events, and other band trips. Of course you would attribute excelling in band is your talent to play your instrument and practice.
Do you have hobbies you excell in too? Maybe you can throw them in.
