i don't think i will ever be happy until something bad happens where i will be forced to get help. i've been watching my sisters grow as people. they seem so happy. i wish i could be more like them. my parents are proud of them. they have a life. they are making something out of their life. i'm just wasting mine. i never planned for my future. i keep getting older but nothing is changing. maybe it never will. maybe i'm doomed to live a painful life or take matters in my own hands. i'm sure.

It used to be that way for me but now I make a concentrated effort everyday, even if it means I need to call family and friends for help, I work on pushing away the negatives and surrounding myself with the positives!! When you have positives around you it makes it so much easier to deal with the bad things in life!! With negatives you will rarely get a glimpse of hope!!

OK, I think you need to take things in another direction. Your emotions have taken over. Get your brain in gear. Do you have enough control over yourself to do that? Your brain will find all sorts of things to distract you from pain, if you let it. Play a video game, research an ancient religion, find a recipe that will please you (Yes, you--are you too unworthy to enjoy a meal you cooked yourself?). C'mon! You would also be surprised at how great you will feel if you help animals/people in distress. It could be homeless people or animals. Maybe go read something from Reader's Digest to the old folks. DO try it.

Yes, because there's more negative than positive things in life.

I hope so. things are looking up. adjustments, change and even positive stressors can take a toll. it take work to retrain a brain.
