I'm a Rob Zombie fan as well, I was more of a fan of The Devil's Rejects though but I still liked House of 1000 Corpses. I saw the new Halloween opening night and I love it! Alot of people will say other wise because it wasn't EXACTLY like the orginal but who cares? lol. It was still a good movie, very well done, lots of gore, lots of swearing, lots of nudity but any one who knows Rob Zombies movies should have known when they went to see it that they weren't going to see a disney movie, they were going to see a horror movie. Oops kinda got off topic so anyway, yeah check it out :]

i'm unable to freaking wait to work out it. i'm a wide Halloween/ Michael Myers fan. i loved the unique a million,2 yet i imagine that Rob's remake will be an particularly thrilling take because its provides more desirable in to Michael's previous. i don't understand i loved each and each and every of the Halloweens except the third on season of the witch.

Good if you appreciate character development in films. The backstory of Michael's upbringing contributed a lot to my general understanding of how this individual became warped; although I don't understand how Michael gained 'superhuman' strength or wasn't mortally injured. Although Zombie's Halloween seemed like a remake of the original, his treatment couldn't be viewed as a regurgatation of it; follow me? What I wanted was a 'freak-out' experience (like with 28 Weeks Later) And although there was blood/gore and extreme acts of violence, the viewer is shielded by the blocking of the characters vis a vis a realistic viewing of those acts.

I'd like to see R.Z. remake a Disney movie or two. Just imagine the sex scenes in "Snow White..."

If he would stop the shaky camera crap, he would be a great director. I did like the backstory part in this version.
