I have a few multiples for friends and I just wanted to say, pick the 2 most beautiful names you can imagine, names you would've wanted, don't MAKE them rhyme. If they do by chance, that's good if they are truly your favorites, but I have come to believe they should be named as individuals, not as "twins." The twin part will be obvious, right? They need their own identity. I don't think twins should be named any different then the way you would name your 2 daughters if they were born separate. If you like Mackenzie for one and Elizabeth for the other, there is nothing wrong with that!! If they weren't twins, what would you name them?? Go from there.

Elizabeth is a great name! If you and your husband both like it, go with that for one of the girls. There are tons of names that sound good with Elizabeth. It shouldn't be hard to pick a middle name and a name for her sister that both sound good with it. Elizabeth also has many options for nicknames. Versatility is good. When she's young Libby or Lizzie would be cute, but when she's older she may prefer to go by Eliza, Liz or Beth. These are just a few of the options.

Elizabeth Grace and Alexandra Rose
I really like these names together. You could call them Libby and Lexi or if you don't like that, there are many options for nicknames for both of these.

Katelyn Elizabeth and Kayleigh Rose
This is an option if you like the similar name thing for twins.

Elizabeth and Katherine
Elizabeth and Madeline
Elizabeth and Lillian
Elizabeth and Margaret

I love Elizabeth. Just saying, it's also good for the child that she can be called different things throughout her life - you know, Lizzie as a baby, Libby as a teenager and Liz or Elizabeth as an adult. Good for you, nice choice of names. My mom likes Evangeline (she would have called me that but I would have been nicknamed Eevy Greevy, ha ha!). I'm also one half of girl twins and trust me, it's brilliant at some times and horrible at some others, but mainly brilliant. And we always gang up on our parents, so I would watch out!

My twin sister likes Megan and Ruth.

I like Laura and Ruth. I also like Annalise or Briony. Kate is my favourite name, though.
