As the saying goes, it's better to give than to receive. Personally, I love to give gifts! I really find a lot of joy in doing so, especially when it's something that I know the recipient will really like.

just thinking about giveing to someone makes me happy because in order to think of the proper thing to give you have to stop and think about the person and what they are like, what they mean to you, their wants and needs and it brings back old memories
although receiveing a special gift from a dear friend or loved one runs a close second
