Well, height really doesn't have much to do with anything does it......Then if you look at the age difference, 6 months....come on....that's nothing in the big scheme of things. It's when the 16 year old wants to date a 19 year old that you are getting into trouble. That age span is a whole world of difference. But then when they both reach majority, the age range doesn't matter. There is 13 years difference between my husband and myself, so it depends on the individual.

its fine even if hes a uni student as long as hes nice ... note he could be a heavey metaller, into rock music, have a motor bike and be a bit naughty and still nice .
and they are both VERY WELL EDUCATED ABOUT SEX...
muost certaibnly fully aware there is no such thing as pulling out or we only touched bits or was only in for a second.
Likewise no safe time of the month.
And sperm is happy in air on fingers and going thoguh panties.
Ie proper sex ed.
And incidently if worried why have you not taken said daughter to start nuva ring, injections, or at leat the patch long term contrception and made sure she knows things like antibiotics and st johns worth or anti seisure drugs stop it working and why have you not got mornign after pills at home just in case and get the condoms yourself mnad make sure she carries them.
so readdy even if nothin happens for another few years.
Ie could be one nearly gets killed when a car misses them and the other is all loved up what if they lost them and emotions and passion takes over.
Also said older guy... dont assume hes any more experienced . he could be shy and crap at dating , had protective parents and guys mature slower then girls.
ie dont assume your daughter is all sweet and innocent and maybe shes pulling him
Which is fine as long as someone gets things started.
People need relationships or become self harming and suicidal with no confidence or self esteem. and end up with massive problems with realtioships and work relationships later in life.
Also better she becomes sexaully active whilst living at home with you to turn to to eeal with feelings and other aspects

That's kind of cute and sophomore isn't that big a deal. I just wouldn't let my daughter date someone who had already graduated....Just so she can stay in that environment (and stay young hee hee) a little longer. But let's says she dates a sophomore, and they stay together, she'll be a senior and he'll be graduated...I think that's fine too... As long as he's a gentleman.

The daughter could desire to understand that academic honesty is substantial and that mendacity isn't an amiable high quality. a gathering could desire to be set up with the teachers of the instructions she is failing. She should additionally be enrolled into summer college, it quite is punishment in itself. As for the punishment it quite is dispensed to her, doing away with skin care products is somewhat petty. One could desire to make her sign an academic acheivement coverage and conform to maintain up grades, and if the promise isn't saved, her worldy possesions would be systematically taken away,( cellular telephone, digicam, pc, t.v., vehicle, time with buddies).

I fail to see what height has to do with anything. Are you teaching her that she's only to be attracted to men below a certain height?
If he's six months older than her, they're essentially the same age aren't they?

Yes, a one-grade age difference is NOT a big deal!! Don't be so strict! I met my husband in high school- he was a senior and I was a junior! AND (gasp!) he's 6' 4"!!!

i think as long as they are either above or below the age of consent. if one is and one isnt, its ok as long as they dont do anything physical. age is close and if there both comfortable with each others height, then it shouldnt matter.
