Im trying to find a wii console to buy for my boyfriend but i cant find any. I was just wondering since there is a very high demand for the system, are prices going to increase within the next few weeks? if so, about how much do you think it will go up?

No, they will not increase, but I've been hearing that this Christmas is going to be like last year,,,hard to come by. So if/when you do find it, you better grab it.

I bought my Wii the other day and I'm addicted, and I'm 21. So don't listen to people who says Wii sucks... The price on the Wii will not go down it's low already at 250 dollars. It will not go down anytime before X-mas thats for sure. Also Nintendo is having a hard time coming keeping up with demand for the Wii's now and it's goin to get worse and worse everyday from now on as we get closer to x-mas. I bought mine from Target, and that's because 6 Game Stores and 3 Walmarts didn't have them, but the first Target I called did have them.

Anywhere you go the Nintendo Wii will be 250 and you will get Wii sports only one controller and nunchuck, i recommend you buy another controller and nunchuck.

Prices never rise sweety... unless its gas prices haha.

Prices will stay firm at the $250 rate throughout the holiday season, according to Nintendo. Further, it's been announced that shipments for the Wii will be about double what it was last year, so it will be easier to find but not by much.

I bought mine right out of a game stop no problem, I didn't have to go looking. I think it's the Super smash Brothers release that's got every one rushing out to get one. Just wait until the game seels. The prices of the Wii though will not go up, and if it does, it will not be to the amount that you will not be able to afford it, other wise it will lose appeal to consumers.

It's really an ethos issue for the gaming retailers.

The santa hat jumps in value around Halloween. It doubles in value. It became around 212m in the time of october and november. After those months although the Santa Hat will decrease returned to around 100m area. interior the long-term it is going to proceed going up as a results of fact of its rarity. As for it going to 1B, that could take an prolonged time. There are extra santas than multiple different rares so it may take it a whilst to get to 1B. provide it like 10 years and it may hit 700m.

They definetly won't. I have never heard any console's raising in price when nearing the holidays. All the problem is the high demand

The MSRP will remain $250. As such, retailers will make it $250, for fear that Nintendo will stop selling Wii products through them.

Now, eBay prices, that's another story...
