Christmas is my favorite holiday without a doubt. We get to spend time with family and friends and it's an entire month of just being happy. I love giving gifts to everyone and celebrating. I love the weeks leading up to Christmas most though. It's not just a one day thing, the feeling lasts all month long. It's the best!

I love to give gifts, I love to Celebrate the time when we remember the Birth of Christ, I love to get together with family and friends, I love the presentations at the Churches, and I love to watch the excitement in the eyes of the children, and our puppy. I hate the way big business has exploited this very sacred holiday, I hate the way some people whine about us celebrating the Birth of our Savior, yet it is fine to Celebrate Halloween, and you don't hear any complaints about that very evil holiday. I hate the way people try to take away the true meaning of the holiday. But I will always love to celebrate this time that we as Christians have chosen to celebrate the Birth of Christ. Yes, I know that it is not the actual time that he was born, but I give someone credit for setting up a birthday party for our Lord and Savior!

Yes, but not for the common reasons. I like the dawning of the longest night of the year and the birth of the days (Sun) getting longer. I also love the joy my kids get from opening presents and creating our own holiday traditions.
