How safe is it to keep a promise with someone?

If you make a promise it's because you know you can fulfill it, right? Otherwise, why make a promise. If you are promised something it's wise to not expect anything from it and be pleasantly surprised when the promise comes through. Unless, it's a promise of love, then you should expect it to be honored.

Depends on the person! Some people I would NEVER expect to keep a promise, and others I wouldn't think twice-100% faith in them.

Don't make promises that are unsafe to keep. An unsafe promise probably means that you're helping someone do something wrong or enabling someone who has a problem.
