If you, can you give me the law or regulation that prohibits this action. Thank you so much. There is this lady who keeps advertising goverment jobs on our school forums. It's getting to be very tiring and irritating. I am thinking this is illegal. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

No, there isn't a statute that I know of. However, there could be a GREAT legal argument that parallels similar statutes in the U.S. Code for unwanted solicitations in the postal mail. There are even statutes against telephone calls from unwanted solicitors (although most of those are state laws).

Public schools are ran by our government, so no it is not illegal to advertise government jobs on public school discussion forums.

Nope, it is perfectly legal.

In fact, if it is a public school which accepts federal money, they can be compelled to allow certain government agencies to advertise (mainly DoD). If Uncle Sam is going to pay for the school's existence, he has earned the right to self-promote.

no I think its leagle but the jobs she is posting proulbly arent most likely its a scam I would look into that and then you could go after her for that
