I am 18. My BF is 16. The Age of Consent in NY is 17.

My question is "can I legally shower with him (no penetration of any kind) before he is 17?

What about sleeping together with no sex?

If you could provide any laws or summaries I would appreciate it. I just don't want to break any laws. Thanks.

First things first. Don't listen to Mike, he is mental or something.

Now, do yourself a favor and ask yourself this question. Is it worth the possible risks to your future to mess around with him in any type of situation that might be construed as sexual? Obviously the answer is no. Trust me, wait that one year and live free and happy without any possible legal problems.

Yeah right. . .

Don't try to sell that, because nobody is going to buy it.

. . . If something goes wrong the 18 year old can be charge with statutory rape. does not matter if you want to be with that person, because according with the law, underage people are not capable to make those decisions.

(don't do anything)

what you VOLUNTARILY do behind closed doors (or shower curtains) is not the law's business. If someone tries to force you underage--that's a different story.
