A while back at work I was looking and checking out other girls and then came home and told my girl about it and how I felt about it...and then right after my last relationship before I met her I told her that when I first met her I was just using her to get over my ex too...is my being too honest with her and almost telling her everything a bad thing?

i think it's great that you can be that honest with your girlfriend. my boyfriend is very honest like that too, and i am glad. i dont want him hiding anything from me. as long as you know you love her and your girlfriend knows you love her too, its ok to be as honest as you want.

I believe in being honest about everything in life, in relationships, I wouldn't want to be in a relationship that was based on lies!! I wouldn't want to use someone either, it's not fair to them!!

Yes it is VERY bad, you need to keep some stuff to yourself. Really, no one wants to hear the whole truth. I mean would you? You have to make her feel like she is special. She does not need to know about the others, that will hurt her. Tell her she is the only one you ever loved, the only one you will ever love. :)

use your best judgement, but dont overthink it. honesty is very tricky. sometimes its good to be honest, but other times its good to keep things quiet.
