I dont really think it is Kerry or others military experience that matters here.
Look at insane McCain. He should be respected as a POW VET, but his politicas are just alittle too out there.
What this shows is integrity and lack of patriotism these current leaders have.
When it was their time, they sidestepped any true involvement.
Thats the real issue here.
And that says everything that needs to be said about a leaders character.
When push comes to shove and its time to show what youre made of and your love for this country....
you really dont care about anyone but your self.
Goes for about 95% of republicans too

no, it was not. someone with experience, and just a little bit of humanity would have done a far better job. thank you for the question.

To answer the first question, it was a terrible idea and I didn't agree to it... I didn't vote for him
Second question, not because Gore and Kerry are V. vets... but more that they have a brain...

Do you think it was a good idea to have Bill Clinton WHO NEVER EVEN SERVED IN THE MILITARY oversee the occupation of Somalia in 1993-94. Sending troops to Rwanda in July 1994. Invasion of Haiti in September 1994. Invasion of Bosnia in December 1995. Warships sent to maneuver off the coast of China in 1996. Firing of cruise missiles at suspected chemical weapons sites in Iraq in December 1998?

Your vote might have made a difference.
Next time exercise your right/responsibility and get the leadership this country needs.

Dan Rather managed to fool some people with his Copy-Mart faxed phoney Bush AWOL papers...which Rather COULD have checked out for authenticity, but "what the helled" to besmerch Bush. Rather almost got fired when OTHER people did the checking Rather was too LAZY and BIASED to do. Rather trashed the credibility of CBS and few people have returned to watch CBS "News"as they realize that they may truly See BS.

Al Gore???? Experience in Viet Nam??? AHHAHAHAHAHA
The majority of Mr Gore's military experience was spent at Fort Rucker writing the base newspaper.
Al Gore spent five months in a rear echelon engineering company. He probably never picked up his rifle, let alone fired a round off the training range.
John Kerry's experience would have led us to shooting ourselves in the foot and going home.
I'm sorry, which branch of the armed forces did you serve in to gain such insight?

1- Can you fly jets? George Bush can, and he learned how in the National Guard when he was AWOL.
2- Franklin D Roosevelt was in a wheel chair most of his adult life, and never served in the military, but was one of our greatest war time leaders.
