In 1989, I had an experience that is properly called a crisis apparition. This happens when you see the "spirit" of someone that is alive but generally far away and in trouble or danger.

At the time, I was in the Army and into motorcycles and had started riding with a club of (mostly) other military guys. I say mostly because there were 2 women in the club, neither of which was military. It was of one of these women, "Kathy" that I had the apparition. I had been in the club for about a year and as the club was small, we were all very close friends. One night I was asleep in my barracks when I suddenly jerked awake. I didn't know why but I had a feeling that Kathy was in trouble. I could barely remember the dream I was having but there were flashes of her and an ambulance. The only thing I knew for sure was that I had to get to her. This being before cell phones were popular I got on my bike and went to our local hangout. As soon as I got there, another friend pulled me aside and told me not to worry, but Kathy had been in an accident. She had dumped her bike crossing the street when a car pulled out in front of her. Luckily, she just got a bit of road rash and was not seriously hurt. I explained why I was there and it turned out that she dumped her bike at the exact same time I woke up.

Why me? Why not one of the others or someone that was closer? It is my belief that it was because I was asleep. Being unconscious, I was the most receptive. She didn't mentally choose me. I am in no way psychic. I was just in the best state to hear her subconscious cry for help.

This is true and scary:

Not long after we were married my wife and I purchased an 8 room house, we had two Siamese cats, I would go to bed early due to my job. After getting into bed, one of the cats would jump onto the bed and I would feel her walking across it and and lay down. I would open my eyes and look; no cat was there. I thought I was imagining things until one day my wife mentioned the same thing was happening to her. Sometimes one or both cats would be sitting at the bottom of the stairs; just staring up them, and you could tell just by their movements that they were sort of scared,. One would sometimes start to venture up the steps only to get about halfway and quickly come back down.

After my wife passed on I would frequently smell a body powder she favored-the smell would be strong and last awhile- There was a night light in the kitchen which shone into the hall mirror and the light reflected onto a wall in a front room. I would see a shadow on the wall as if someone or something was passing between the light and the mirror. I would also see very tiny lights floating around the front room. I was once sitting reading a book when I felt a distinct blowing sensation, as if someone pursed their lips and blew a stream of air starting at my wrist and continuing up my arm,. Once when the TV was turned off, I saw an image in the screen resembling what you would see if you were looking into one of those kaleidoscope tubes that you turn to make different shapes. What I saw looked very much like when the sun shines through a tree and makes a shadow or image on the ground or a wall. As I watched it ,it got progressively smaller until it disappeared. (???? weird, huh?) I have since moved to an apartment.

One day shortly after moving into said apartment, my sister in-law was here helping out. She was in the kitchen; I heard her go "OOOOH. I said, what is the matter with you? She replied she'd felt someone touch her on the shoulder. Whenever she is here, she has the feeling like someone is watching her. (From what I have been reading here, I see that feeling is familiar with a lot of you) So far I have just experienced small things here; there is a tap at the door usually at an irritable time, like 2 or 3 AM and - you guessed it - no one is there when I go to the door. Usually I will hear the storm door open and I will be waiting for someone to either knock or enter, but there is no one there.

I am now at an apartment complex; my elderly aunt lived in the complex nearby. She recently passed on. After the funeral my sister and I were there making sure the apartment was cleaned out; my sister was around the corner. (Note: She is one of those people who roll their eyes when the subject of ghosts or the paranormal comes up.) She came around the corner hurriedly and said we were done there. After we were outside she told me why she was in a hurry. She said she heard my deceased aunt call her by name. I live a couple of minutes from Gerrysburg, Pennsylvania, so I might have some more ghostly info in the future.

I have always been a believer. I believe 'The truth is out there."

Yes, once I was at a party of about 40. We were playing a Quija board in a closed room w/door locked. There were only 6 of us in the room playing the game. All of a sudden there was all of this banging & knocking on the door. We asked the game how many people were outside the door. It gave the exact count. We even told the people not to move when we opened the door. People were all over the property not just in the house, so there was no way for us to use simple elimination.

My first experience was when I was about 6 or 7 when I first got my calling from the spirits to be a clairvoyant. I was just drifting off to sleep everyone else in the house had already fallen asleep and I was just laying in my bed with my eyes open and I heard my name being called from the back door. I just shrugged it off at first but then I heard it 2 more times. I then went into my parents room and woke my Mom and asked her if she had called my name, of course she had not. I had heard my name being called as clear as day. It was not until years later when I had my first reading done that at that time it was my spirit guide calling me. I was happy to know that I was not crazy all those years but that it was indeed an actual encounter with my guide. I have gone on to have many more experiences with spirits too many to talk about here.

Like Ari mentioned, i also continue to experience the sensation of cat footsteps walking up the bed, only to see that she is nowhere in sight!!!

Perhaps i am just anticipating her jumping up onto the bed, and imagine she is there; but it is just soooo real!!!!!

This happens day or night.

I've also experienced balls of light racing alongside my car while i was driving in the country one night; they were the size of a tennis ball, and were like a white burning ball of light, and went beside the passenger side window for a few seconds, going up and down like it was surfing beside the car in the night air, and then it was gone. I didn't feel scared, so much as amazed as to what i just saw. I still can't explain what it was yet.

My mother also said it happened to her when she drove past the same place.

We have a phenomenom here in Australia called the 'min min' lights; maybe that's what i saw.?

Cheers,
Hearttattoo.

Someone had put something in my drink and tried to abduct me out of a night club. I fell to the floor and fortunately my friends( he thought I was alone) came and he ran off. The paramedics were called the bar staff bouncers carried me down the stairs an I could see my whole body I was above them descending the stairs and I felt weightless and it was fun watching myself that way. I could see the bald spot on the bouncers head from a top view. Then I was floating and suddenly I heard the bouncer say "I think she is dead". I very quickly tried to force myself back...I was scared then I was like NOOO!! Seconds later I was back. I tried to move and could barely moan but I felt the heavinesss of being in my body again.

I was walking alone in a graveyard at night when I felt someone watching me. I ran away back to my house and went inside. The next day, I found out that a 20 year old woman was killed by an escaped convict in the graveyard... in the same place where I had been walking, just about 30 minutes after I left.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don
