Greetings. was looking at the answers here and noted that it seems most of the people to reply seem to think that voting actually means anything. is no huge secret that the elections in 2000 as well as the 2004 election were riddled with voter fraud, voter machine manipulation and outright terror tactics like the republicans with the baseball bats stopping the vote counts in Florida. Face it. Bush is president by subterfuge and illegal acts, not because the people voted him in. the votes were never counted honestly. People also have the strange idea that he only has a month or so to serve? why is that? his term goes on for another what? 13 months and then months after that before he is replaced by the next fakir? Why is George Bush still president? Because our government system has totally failed and we no longer have a government that represents the people at all, and the democrats totally sold out and committed treason by their actions to support the war against our wishes. Yeah go out and vote. Give yourself a warm feeling. but don't expect it to matter one whit.

Why? Just read all the stupid answers above. When people don't even know how their own government works, they're powerless to have any effect on it.

There has never been a President in U.S. history that was ever impeached. The Senate voted against impeachment of Andrew Johnson. It's very possible that Richard Nixon would have been impeached, if the Senate had ever voted on it, but it never came up since Nixon resigned. And the Senate voted against impeachment of Clinton, too.

Now, with all the squabbling going on in the Senate at this moment, where they can't even decide what to do about the Iraq war, just how likely do you THINK they'll get together just to vote on an impeachment, let alone actually getting enough votes to do it?

This administration has messed up so bad and broken so many laws, in our country and abroad that we would have to replace to many politician's and appointees if we were to seek impeachment.
It could cause unrest in this country. We would be weak and vulnerable in the international community.

That is why Bush is still president.
It's easier to wait it out then to destroy the country worse then what Bush already has.

Because the supreme court appointed him in 2000 and Diebold showed him how to stuff the ballot boxes in 2004...

After 2004 Dick Daley rolled over in his grave!! You can bet if Daley were still alive he'd have a better way to stuff the ballot boxes in the Dem's favor!!

he was elected to a term that ends January 20, 2009 at exactly 12 noon. It is not that date and time yet.

When the towers came down did anybody here call their congressman and say please don't invade Iraq or Afganistan? Some here talk of impeachment and others of Treason. But how can you impeach someone who got the vote of Congress to delcare war on a known terrorist supporter (Iraq). As for treason if you bad mouth the President and undermind the policies that your elected officials authorized then your guilty of treason. He is still President because he did exactly what 99% of real Americans did when we were attacked. He fought back.
My advice to you war bashers is to quit watching CNN and grow up.

Because the democrats haven't the intelligence to nominate someone electable. Remember this answer next January when you will be asking why a Republican is still in the White House.

Because despite the continual attempts of the ninnies in Congress and the media to convince you otherwise, he's not nearly as unpopular as they make him out to be.

I could be a snotty little berk and say "because his term hasn't expired yet," but I'm not in that kind of mood right now.

It seriously has to be something they're putting in our water or something because his treason is never-ending.

How we became so insensitive to such crime, treason, corruption and conspiracy against the American people is beyond me. Nobody seems to understand how rare freedom is, how the founding fathers warned and warned and warned about how dangerous government is, the protections they put into place for us (many of which have been taken away already), HOW FREEDOM REQUIRES OUR INVOLVEMENT AND EFFORT AND OUR FOREFATHERS KNEW IT WAS VALUABLE AND WORTH IT... It's really sad...

Because the democrats people voted for lied to them to get into office, only to not do what they promised.
