I think it is important that the masculinist and Men's movement get more attention and reconigtion. We should also work harder so our voice can be heard.

So gentlemen, what can we do to make the masculinist and Men's movement more well known?

1) I actually don't agree with the Masculinist movement because it uses the same 'Social Construct' theory that Feminists use. Although, we can all agree that we are physically, emotionally, and psychologically sculpted by our surroundings, I can not accept that Everything is socially constructed, ridding society of anything beyond Basic Biology. I'm more in-line with the Men's Rights Movement.

2) For the Men's Rights Movement, I do see writing books, creating websites, getting involved in the Political Realm.

3) Hold/Sponsor charity events for Men's Health Issues.... Prostate Cancer, Heart research(which will help women in some areas also), and so on.

4) http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/chs/registry/faq.htm Here is one issue that I believe needs change. This website is an example of men being able to keep the woman from giving his child up for adoption(legally kidnapping the child from him). Lobby for these Men's Reproductive Rights in all the states. Men also need to be educated on what their rights are in these situations.

5) Don't get trapped into the 'Us vs. Them' useless rhetoric. Stay focused on the actual issues at hand.

6) Donate time to Big Brothers or some other similar organization. Just teaching a fatherless child how to be a mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy man can do wonders. Otherwise, these children have no one to teach them how to be a man.
Consider these statistics:
--90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes.

--85% of all children that exhibit behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes.
[Center for Disease Control]

--80% of rapists motivated with displaced anger come from fatherless homes.
[Criminal Justice and Behavior, Vol. 14 p. 403-26]

--71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes.
[National Principals Association Report on the State of High Schools]

--70% of juveniles in state operated institutions come from fatherless homes
[U.S. Dept. of Justice, Special Report, Sept., 1988]

--85% of all youths sitting in prisons grew up in a fatherless home.
[Fulton County Georgia Jail Populations and Texas Dept. of Corrections, 1992]

Kendrick is right on the money. You took the words out of my mouth, but constructed them in a fair and concise manner(better than what I could've done), plus coming from a man, it'll have more impact than if it came from me, as a woman. No-one appreciates hearing anything slightly negative from the opposite sex about their own movements. Unfortunate but true.

Learn by example.

Get organized, use student activism, inspire politicians to sympathize with your cause.

Your not going to like it but my honest advice would be to stop the feminism bashing, no one takes a basher seriously.

Consider Valarie Solanas, you think anyone *important or influential* would subscribe to her belief structure? hell no.

Just saying, focus more on men themselves and masculinity and not so much on "whats so wrong with women" and you might get a bigger fan base.

Let's get this in proper perspective. Feminism is essentially an evil cult whose leaders advocate man-hate and female supremacy. Masculism is merely a response to feminism, a defence if you like. If feminism were to disappear then so would masculism.

Masculism DOES also focus on issues such as men's health and fathers' rights but this is only because the effects of feministic attitudes and outlooks have created a social environment which creates these issues in the first place.

So by eliminating feminism the need for masculism would disappear and therefore there would be no point in promoting it.

Don't do it ...men are heard enough ... women want to be heard to the point of losing their femininity ... who cares wether you're a real man or a real woman >> Who gets to decide except ourselves anyway...
Nope the guy thing is a bunch of semi gay tough guys in a forest talkin crap around a campfire while half of them are thinking about getting naked with each other in the tent.....
And the womens movement is full of ugly misunderstood loud undesireables who feel the need to excersise their right to free speech by emasculating men and destoying their own natural femininity by acting like a%%holes...
Be yourself is the best policy and live and let live no reaction is sometimes the best response to reactionary groups

Go on the Jerry Springer show and announce that you want all the other men that feel threatened by women's rights to join you in your little, we hate women unless they are willing to be our servants, club.
