I can not believe that the guy (I forgot his name) who stood over Trent Green and taunted him while green was k.o.'d did not get any fines or punishment from the NFL. While Greens block may have been questionable, it is absolutely not illegal. Taunting a player is, expecially when he is down on the field and could be paralized for all we know at the time. I think that if it was a black qb like McNabb who was k.o.'d and it was a white DL that stood over him and did the same thing, he deffinately would have been fined because the NFL would have been afraid of people shouting racism. What do you think?? This looks like another example of reverse racism to me.

stop sucking up to people, you are the only racist here. If it was a black guy on the ground I would have been just as disapointed that a white guy didnt get fined or punished by the NFL.

You make a very good point, it was not taunting, that was just the term I heard them use on the replays. You are correct though, it was anger and now that you have said that, i might have changed my mind. The only reason I havent fully changed my mind is the way that he still trashed Green after the game in the interview, there was no need for that.

While reverse racism is prevalent and obvious everywhere, I think you're stretching a bit on this one. People are going to get fired up whenever they get a good shot on the QB. One of the things that separates whites from the minorities (at least in terms of the media) is that we don't pisss and moan every time something happens (NAACP ACLU GALA yadayadayada). That guy does deserve a fine though.

he wasn't taunting, he was yelling he was very angry as are most defenders when they receive a cut block, but it isn't the legality that made him angry, if you look at it, if green had been a half a second later he would severely injured the defender. it was a very sloppy block and that is when players get hurt. he saw a guy that tried to hurt him (in his eyes) getting hurt himself, this guy had no idea green was hurt as bad as he was, as soon as he realized trent wasnt getting up he cooled off. but if it was reversed would it be considered racist? i doubt it but i dont remember the last time i saw a white defender get that animated about a play. (exception romanowski who was more animal that any race)

Legal block or not, that type of block is a cheap shot. Green was putting the other player at risk of never walking pain free again.

Heat of the moment thing, not his true character showing.

I saw the play...and the replay...Looked to me like Trent Green slipped, not like he was trying to take out the defensive guy...

I don't think race had anything to do with it. Can I call you the White Donovan Mcnabb?

well would you have been happier if it were a white player who stood over him? i bet it made your blood boil to see a black man doing it, huh? it sounds like you have racist issues. IT'S A GAME! trash talking happens from ALL races, get over it.
