Learn everything you can about everything, every opportunity you get.

Don't spend money frivolously, invest extra funds in education or investments which guarantee financial return.

Don't EVER burn bridges with the folks you can't get along with. You may need them later.

Keep a good credit rating - pay your bills.

When opportunity comes, and it always does, do not be afraid. Trust your gut instincts.

This simply isn't true - the myth is that we use 5% of our brain.

It comes from a study where they cut in to mouse brains and studied the effects, unforunately mice aren't humans. What might have been a total psychotic breakdown in a human was invisible in a mouse that continued to scurry around so they'd mark it as 'no effect'.

They also assumed that parts of the brain that we didn't know the purpose of - had no purpose. Hardly the best scientific method.

There's some good advice here about tapping in to your potential but don't kid yourself that you're only using 5%.

There is nothing to tap into unless you fill the remaining
% with learning. Otherwise, all you get is 5%.

NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Sounds weird and pseudo-scientific, but it's totally NOT. It's mostly common sense, with a ton of brain-training exercises thrown in.

Get an NLP WORKBOOK (Beginner/Intermediate level), with lots of exercises, then go train your brain.
