C (Circumference) = Pi r (radius) 2
So, C=pi r 2
In other words. You know pi (3.14), now you need to know the radius. Divide half of the diameter (line in half of a circle) and multiply by 2. There! You have circumference!

C (of a circle) = (pi)R
R=D/2
= 12m / 2
= 6m
using (pi)R = C
C = (pi) 6m
= 18.84m
Circumference is 18.84m
