Hey the weirdest thing happen to me! I tried plugging in my USB and then my computer cut-off it said it was due to over heating. so i turned it back on, gave it more ventalation tried plugging it in again and it did the same thing! Whats Wrong? I have a Dell Insprion B120 w/ an expired warranty

EDIT: I tried plugging in a USB 2.0 that goes to my Lexmark Printer

Hi. There is something wrong because the printer does not draw power from the USB. You can monitor your CPU temperature with software such as SpeedFan or MBM5. If it stays below 50 degrees C it should be OK. http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php for SpeedFan or http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=311 for MBM5. Check your fan filters for dust build up. Also check your heat sink for dust. Blow them out (not vacuum) and that should help.
