God will win. He's done it once, he'll do it again. In the bible god had a war with a angel who thought he was better then god. In the end god won and sent him down to a pit where he would rot for all eternity

God and the Devil did have a contest.
In the book of JOB
God and the Devil competed for poor old Job.
Job did not forsake God no matter what torments were inflicted on him. And they were many!
So, If you believe in the bible, God won in the case of Job. For Job refused to forsake God even though it appeared God had forsaken him.
It is a great story and one that has merit for all people regardless of faith
