I live in Minnesota and we have cold weather and usually snow. The perfect Christmas is a fresh blanket of snow on the ground and a bit of frost bite in the air. When it gets dark the stars shine really bright and we Sing Christmas carols out side of peoples homes, just to bring joy to the community and to put the Spirit of the Birth of Christ in the Air. On the inside it is always nice to turn the Christmas lights on the tree, watch the Angel on the top of the tree glow and snuggle up to a warm fire in the fire place. Make myself and my husband a Tom & Jerry drink and enjoy soft Christmas music as we watch the children open gifts.

I used to live in Illinois. There were times when the weather is cold and snowy but mostly just cold. I now live in Las Vegas. I'm looking forward to it not being so cold. I'll get a brief "snow fix" when I go home for Christmas but I am so glad that I wont have to deal with it all winter long.

The weather is usually partly sunny skies, a 60% chance of snow from the west and usually about 3-6 inches in the morning...Highs are in the 30's and lows are in the teens.

And as you can see a small trough coming from the midwest that will begin to taper off in the early morning. Be sure to stay tuned for your weekend forecast... sound familiar? hee hee

If all goes well, it will be about 15 - 25 degrees fahrenheit, snowing, without at least 1 foot of snow on the ground so that I can use the snowshoes I got last Christmas when we had *no* snow!

Chicago is normally cold. Snow makes it perfect and beautifully sparkly against all the lighting displayed amonst the neighborhood.

One year was odd. I wore a sweater on Easter and on Christmas, I wore no coat.

"ya can't control the weather" and if I could it would be 78 degrees - sunny - with a slight breeze.

Usually cold. When we're lucky, there is snow... But last year it was like 60 degrees, and we didn't see any snow until February. Who knows how it'll be this year, just Monday it was 91 and today it reached a high of 56, next Monday the high is supposed to be 81.

I'm afraid I can't do that, being from the Great White North. I remember Christmas holidays where it was below -40 celsius and others where it was as warm as 10 degrees celsius. Usually it's somewhere in between.

it used to snow on Christmas day, but not so much anymore. its still really cold though...winter coat, scarf and mittens weather. I love it! I couldnt possibly ever imagine a warm Christmas. my ideal Christmas would be celebrating with my family in a log cabin in the woods with tons of snow, fireplace and cutting down our own tree. thats Christmas.

Its normally cold, and snowy. I live in Northern Indiana. If we dont have snow, it just doesnt seem like Christmas. Everyone here always hopes for snow for Christmas, then, we dont want it anymore.

Sometimes it is hot where I live - but I used to sing "I'm dreaming of a cold Christmas" instead of "white Christmas"
