I guess that would depend on who's rule you go by. There was a lady who didn't want to come to church so she told Pastor Leighanne because she didn't have anything that fit but some jeans. Pastor Leighanne told her It doesn't matter what you wear we'll deal with it God already knows what you look like, so it shouldn't bother us.

Wear a skirt below the neighs. Some churches allow sleeveless, some do not encourage it. Make sure that your shirt covers your stomach and is you send over, it does not expose either. As for shoes, just don't wear sneakers. There aren't any BAD colors, just don't be too neon or anything. I'm not exactly catholic - I'm morman)

Anything that shows your bra strap, the obvious things.
I wore a pair of lowrise jeans (and I do mean lowrise) to church once and I was an altar server so I had to wear that big white robe and my jeans were rising very low. I could not pull them up because of the big stupid robe xP

Tube tops, shorts/skirts with everything you've got showing, spaghetti strap tops and going bra-less, concert t-shirts. I've seen it all coming and going in the two churches in my neighborhood, and it isn't all from the teenagers. Some of the parents dress just as tacky and trashy and their kids, and this is the heart of the bible belt.

I would guess being in your birthday suit would be inappropriate to other church members but to God I don't think anything would be inappropriate to praise Him or Whorship Him or Pray with Him.
