i saw a news story about how the soliders who come back from war don't get the kinda of help they deserve. It talked about how the famlies of soliders who die in war don't get much help. Than i read a story about all the money the U.S government gives multi-millions to other countries. What I wanna know is, when are the people in this country gonna wake up and think about their own?

I am not an American but if the troops who fight for your country do not get help in finding good jobs etc it certainly should be reviewed. Also the relatives of the dead soldiers should get some form of financial help. Try writing to your local senator Good luck from a very sympathetic Brit

truly jl, I am not sure in my lifetime if America will ever take full responsibility to their soldiers that fight in a war for them.
The majority of common people will agree with you, but the a$$e$ running the country, be it democratic or republican, can't see far enough out of their own pocket to do what is right. In the Senate and the House sits a majority of clueless people voted in mostly by the uneducated vote, and they are not concerned with your issue, moreso, they are concerned about who opposes them, or whom has the most time off.
Nah, not in my lifetime will there ever be the full financial support for military families.

I suspect it may have something to do with shame - embarrassment at why they are wounded or dead. The government would rather push them back in a dark corner and pretend that they're not responsible for what happened to them.
