What does each variable stand for? What unit would Q be in?

Q: total heat
m: mass
ΔT: temperature change (Δ usually means change)
Cp: Specific heat capacity

this is the formula for heat capacity. It tells you how much heat (q) you have to add to a certain mass (m) of an object with a certain specific heat (Cp) to raise the temperature by a set number of degrees (delta T).
