That the Yanks win or the Red Sox lose?
For me, since we've won plenty of WS, there's NOTHING more satisfying than seeing the Red Sox lose.

Nothin personal Sox fans, but I just love to hate the Sox. Last night's game was painful!
BTW, can't stand your Patriots either, but I do hope they crush the Cowboys on Sunday. It'll help the Giants at least.

Being a Yankees fan of course I rather see the Yankees win over the Red Sox losing, but since the Yanks lost now I wanna see the Red Sox lose also, so far the best part of the 2007 season was seeing the Mets lose on the last day of the season. Now that was almost as good as seeing the Yanks win, pretty much because the Mets were in first almost all season and to not only lose on last day but to not even make the playoffs, now that was beautiful, but I would still rather see the Yanks win over another team losing.

well most of the answers to this questions so far are stupid except the ones where the good fans said they wanna see there team win
any true fan would root for there team winning any day of the week
the red sox have won in the first round they even won tonight against the same team the yankees got dominated by
im not even a red sox fan still smart enough to see the obvious

Once the Yankees were eliminated I stopped caring about the playoffs. The next time I watch baseball will be in March. Whether the Sox win or lose is a moot point.

Im sorry to say the red sox are going to take the world series.. no one should be saying any team sucks cuz they dont..
Edit: Well for your sake.. The Yankees Suck way more than the red sox.. they dont have good pitching and offense like we do.. and if they didnt suck they would be in the playoffs so **** off.. oh and btw the red sox will win.. the indians will never beat us so get a life..

to me as a yankee fan, before i can say anything about the red sox I have to know, what came first, the chicken or the egg ? once I solve that problem, I can move on to baseball things.

Not just in baseball but in life always vacillate toward the positive and away from the negative. Pull for your team to win while you enjoy watching the great players on other teams. Nothing you can ever do will make any of the teams win or lose, just enjoy the great game of baseball and pass your knowledge on to younger people as you get older.

is it because your use to losing in the first round of the playoffs for the last few years? but hey you my have many ws titles but the yanks also have the biggest choke in playoffs history against those red sox, and nobody could take that away from sox nation....

Yankees fan, here, and being that our dear Yankees are out, I'm looking forward to the Red Sux losing and the Indians winning... but sadly, I don't think that's going to happen.
*shrugs* Hey, I gotta be realistic here.
