Would they be able to be housed together? I have a docile baby sulcata, and would like to get an adult three toed box turtle. I was wondering if for the time being I could house them together, buying the turtle and a new mercury vapor, then waiting until my next check to buy a new (is the 100 gallon the enormous tank?) for the three-toed. I wasn't sure if the three-toed would attack the sulcata...I know I wouldn't reccomend two different species housing together, but I was wondering if just for the time being (a week or two) if they could survive. Thanks!

They can transfer pathogens to one another and become very ill. I wouldn't advise keeping them together.
Buy two 50 gallon rubbermaid tubs and you'll have great temporary enclosures until you can build something larger.
Glass aquariums are unsuitable for land turtles and tortoises.
They have poor air flow that can lead to respritory problems. Turts/torts also tend to think that they can walk through the glass and will become stressed which can make them sick.

we've those as pets we shop for some months and then permit bypass- we feed them worms! bypass out and dig some in case you may, or i think of you additionally can use the mealy worms from a bait save or puppy shop. We additionally placed a million/2-ineffective flies in there, the different bugs we hit upon around the abode, a small piece of spinach- they're going to chew on it. in case you cant locate worms, you may placed an exceptionally SMALL piece of hamburger ( like one thread) and that they're going to consume that too. we try this and then exchange the water day after at the instant to dodge fouling the water. additionally, I even have had the turtle chomp on a small piece of strawberry/ different end result too. Are you anywhere near a zoo? They should be able to advise you.

It doesn't sound like a good idea to me to put them together. You could try putting a barrier of some kind between them.
