in additio to Leech, there's a kid named Austin Smith who was drafted to the Stars last year.

I don't know if there are others, but the best NHL player out of Texas would have to Brian Leetch, he is from Corpus Christi.

brian leetch was born in Texas but moved from there after a very short time around age 1

If you go to each hockey team's web site and pull up their rosters, they will list place of birth. I glimpsed over them and didn't see any on any current rosters.
