As life goes on, the guys who don't/can't commit to good women- feeling bad or not feeling bad, cheating, lying, playing..
what is the best, middle, and worst case scenario? What is what typically happens? I'm just curious how these things follow a person or do they often straighten up just enough?

Okay, clarification:
Do bad boys act like jerks forever, just tapping whatever they can and going around, or do they end up respecting a respectable woman?

As life goes by so does the time for them to find a decent woman and settle down.
There are distinct differences between the "Player" and the "Bad Boys".
The player will grow to an age between 47 and 52 and then wake up 1 day and realise that his sex appeal is lacking , sure he has money 7 time's out of 10 , but his looks certainly arent what they used to be and his sexual abilities are now lacking , he cant go as long or as hard even with the help of viagra , and that's usually when depression set's in because he's realised his time has passed.
The Bad Boy , stay's bad until he meet's the Bad Girl , and then she plays him and kills him emotionally thats when he starts looking for mrs right , usually he doesnt wait until after he has hit a certain age like the Player.
Hope this helped.

Well worst case scenario is that he hurts the girl who put all of her trust and feelings into the relationship (worst, by cheating and lying) and then she goes on to use the same judgment and trust precautions with the next guy so that she doesn't get hurt again . For the guy, he just misses out on what couldve been the best thing that ever happened to him, so that he can go from one to the next. I think that the best case scenario in this situation is that the guy stops being a player because he meets a women, become best friends, fall in love, and just know that she's worth the time and effort.
Worst case scenario is he stops becoming a player because he's getting older and he feels its "time" for him to settle down or he just doesn't ever get to that point because he doesn't care enough to invest time in a relationship. Typically, I think a guy who is a player has just had a bad batch of women and continuously meets annoying and boring ones. Most of the time a player finds a women who is completely different and he's motivated to be with her and only her, however after a couple years of a relationship, players start to want what they don't have and I'd think trust issue would develope but it really just depends on how strong the relationship is. In my opinion, once a player, always a player.

I like your answer heavenlli_61. But in fact my ex was a "quiet" player. And by that i mean he used to cheat all the time and i never knew, he was also a good actor. Anyway it has been 3-4 years since we separated then got divorced. He Married a younger girl than me this year. She is 23 he is 28. When he was with her, about a year ago or so, he tried to get with me several times (The alcohol talking and what not). Once he called me complaining about her childish ways and wanted to take me for a ride "to talk". I said no. He has not called or made any comments like those again since he got married. But maybe just because i said no... he is probably trying to get into someone else's pants than his wife right now.. or then again, maybe he changed... who knows.. now i am with a reformed player.. the type that gets to a certain age, doesnt have taht much sex appeal anymore, but one can tell he once did, and learned from his mistakes....or so i think...... Im only 27 so ask me again in 10 years... I should have a more concrete answer at that time, but then again, so should you..

Well, best case scenario, they end up with a guy like my friend (lets call him J) J ended up with a woman who doesn't mind taking his sh*t and loves him anyway....what he doesn't know is that she has cheated on him too (I just stumbled upon that bit of info) Middle case they end up like my friend (lets call him A) A got a girl pregnant and was forced into settling down...don't think he's happy, but it caught up with him. Worst case scenario they end up like my friend (lets call him Z) Z is 48 and still trying to "play", so he really just ends up bangin' trailer trash and is basically a really lonely person.

Well, my dad was a player, he has been married 3 times, its been over 17 years with the last marriage--so they can change-only when THEY ARE ready~can't make them or try to trick them.
And then I have a cousin--male dog-- he is in his forties and I don't see him stopping or settling down anytime soon...poor thang!
So, it depends on the playa :-)

eventually the shoe gets placed on the other foot and they meet with someone that wants to do what they are doing now and they get hurt or disappointed by it and straighten up to become someone's man ,or they become content in they're doggish ways and lead their lives alone being playahs who knows-may they all burn in hell, hehehe!

You can not group people together. Everyone is an individual. Sins come with consequences. What you put out, you get back. If you put out bad, you get bad in return, if you put out good, you get good in return. Fact of life.

They end up with a female version of themselves and live uncommitted ever after.
They stay a single player.
They put it down to experience and become the most devoted husband a woman could find. (learn from your mistakes)

they generally never marry since they do not know how to form relationships
and if they do marry they choose very poorly since thy lack real people skill and cannot judge a persons character accurately
