Have you had the same symptoms before and been diagnosed by a doctor, so that you know for sure it's a yeast infection this time? There are other things like bacterial infections, and even STD's that can have similar symptoms. You may need to visit a doctor or clinic for an exam to determine for sure what is going on....if you self-treat for a yeast infection and it is something else, you can make it worse. If $$ is an issue, there are free or low-cost women's clinics in most communities. They may have free samples of the medicine you need to give you, or may help you apply for free/reduced cost prescription meds if you qualify.
In the meantime, do you have any yogurt with active cultures? That's supposed to help balance yeast. Also, cranberry juice will help cleanse urinary tract, which may also help ease irritation down there.
Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. There must be more to the story for your mom to be ignoring your health needs like that. Is there another female relative or older female friend that you can turn to for support? Even if they won't help you without talking to your mom first, maybe that conversation will motivate your mom to get you the help you need.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Just tell her that you are very itchy, and you have a yeast infection, and you really need her to get you some cream. Also, tell her you have a little cut from doing splits too hard, and that you also need some Cortizone cream for that.

Good luck to you!

Your mom needs to know that this is a serious problem. Sure, monostat and non-name brands are pricey. Let her know that this is not only caused by sex. That is a common misconception. See the website below and good luck.

Why not get it yourself? Why wouldn't your mom get it for you? Just ask her; this is really no big deal.
If your mom refuses to help you then a YI isn't your worst problem!! Ask your dad, grandmother, friend w/ job, etc. to spot you some money. Do you not get an allowance?

print this question and give it to her.
say mom, i think i have a yeast infection. can we go get something for it?
if it persists, ask her to take you to a ob-gyn, because it might be something that needs stronger medicine.

gee it certainly sounds like mom isn't doing her job.
you might ask your school nurse or counsellor to call her and have a word with her about her responsibility as a parent. if you can't get her to listen, they can and will.
