chickenhawks who cheered on bush's war in 2003, and to those who bashed Michael Moore, who bashed the Dixie Chicks, who accused everyone who they disagreed with of "looking French" and being traitors, and who embarrassingly renamed french fries to "freedom fries": is it a "practical question" to ask why YOU aren't in Iraq fighting the war that you so cheered on in 2003?

Between all your flag-waving and yellow ribbon magnets, you said you weren't in the army because you weren't needed at the time, but that you would enlist if the need ever arose, remember? Well, neocons, now that Iraq is on the brink of failure, do you think now is the time for you to go help fight bush's war?

If Iraq is not on the brink of failure, then what is it on? It sure as hell aint a success.

Why should someone who has all the uxuries at her fingertips sit there and tell the world that it is not a practical question after cheering and supporting it so vociferously, and, as the question points out, offered to enlist if required.

It is the normal hypocrisy where people want something, but are far happier for others to do it for them.

Why should people go and fight in a war which was a lie and a sham from day one? The only thing they get is shot or killed, while those orchestrating the war get richer and richer?

Fairs fair; if she doesn't want to go and fight, then she shouldn't be supporting it and waving flags around...a flag is very different to dodging bullets.

exciting question. i do not comprehend the share of those who make that declare on both aspect are easily watching or no longer. i don't think of human beings that trust a particular channel is biased might want to be swayed regardless of in the adventure that they were uncovered to it. for instance, i imagine Fox is biased yet I watch O'Reilly prevalent plus Beck and Hannity some situations per week because i imagine they are exciting shows.

Today's armed forces is all voluntary. Jenna Bush does not have to join if she doesn't want to. Neither do I. And, as a tax-paying citizen of this country, I can petition my president and congress to send troops where it will do the most good, and then support them after they do.

I think you are confusing the Iraq that is looking more and more like a victory with the Iraq of the past. Regardless, I can't find exactly where the question that is a question is being asked in this post.
Oh, why am I not in Iraq? Because I'm a big chicken. I put my faith in the BRAVE men and woman of the US military to do the fighting for me while I work to counter all the anti Americanism back home and to contribute to our economy by working a full time job and paying full tuition at school. Thats how I do my part. Sorry I don't have any worse news to offer you to cheer you up : (
I see, this is another issue regarding freedom of speech, not an issue about the war! The issue being argued here is that if you have not fought in Iraq, you have no right to support the war in Iraq or be supportive of people who do fight in the war. Hmmm... we want liberties for all, as long as they agree with me... is the point being made here. Speak your mind, if I agree I will allow your message to be heard. LOL

Well, I think the whole purpose of their support for this war is because they think it's protecting THEM personally.. Going and actually fighting in it, well.. They wouldn't be protected by it anymore... They'd be more in harms way.. So no, they won't enlist...

It's not even practical to ask if you have ever served in the military because of your idiotic rant. Pull you head out of michael moore's *** and get a clue
