Man-made means that if we work together we can possibly reverse it.

Alternative 1 = Climate Shift means it's out of our control resulting in a new ice-age and we'll end up like the dinosaurs.

Alternative 2 = End of Days

Any questions?

Where do you people get this cooling 30 years ago theory. From all the evidence I have seen 30 years ago was when the warming started.

Yes you are right. If it's a natural cycle it will get very very cool. Like ice age cool. How cool is that?

Why spend good money feeding starving children when the republicans will just turn around and kill em.

this is of course logical but it means they'd have to admit they were wrong about climate change science and theyd rather ruin earth then admit they were wrong

The answer is alternative 2. But don't worry we won't run out of fossil fuels or go into an ice age before we are long gone. End time is coming and it is close. War, Famine, Draught, Earthquakes, Floods, etc etc etc. And when the Sun, Earth, and Milky Way Allign on 12-21-12 we very well could see a polar shift, very quick end. A solar flare can essentially wipe out all of our electronics in 8 minutes. That's no warning. It happened last when we only had telegraphs. Started a lot of wildfires and such too. All of this is possible and the signs that many of the major religions have predicted would be seen in the end times are present in todays world, including holy wars. So, global warming is about as important as PETA and saving the 4 winged purple and pink gnat, or keeping wild Mustangs from being killed and used for food. They all die in the end too!!

Well, not really, the carbon tax has been created to hold developing countries on the ground... So this global warming hype is really MAN made for this purpose only! Yes the climate is changing, and it also has changed over the eons, humans may or have contributed to it, but our countries have no intentions to hold down there developments, but they are more eager to cash on the environment by messing with it with the help of the carbon tax, thus making the ecosystem of this planet a new business model. This is why I am against Gore and his UN loonies, they are pushing this model without REALLY supporting their views with unecovical evidences!

And to asnwer your question about changing the current climatic shift trends... Well its gona get worst faster, much faster, and if you have doubt of the origins of changes, just look in the sky, Jupiter, Neptune and on are changing, the sun poles are shifting and by 2012 will reach our planet orbital plane! Yes, they are not more solar radiations, reaching Earth, but solar dust and energetic winds are much more prevalent, but those are not monitored by the UN scientists teams... They just calculate the radiations reaching the ground... But the Ionosphere of our planet is controlling weather on all its surface, from cloud formations to high pressure zones, and this IS the place where the changes occur the most! And its strange that the US HAARP project in Alaska, has expended and triple in power and size over the decade! And this is the one that study this ionosphere!
So all in all, this thing is ALL politically motivated, and can`t stand politician shooting their useless and dangerous speeches using peoples fears to control them even more!!

You neglect the idea that this pattern of warming is only a part of a NATURAL cycle of warming and cooling, and thus the temperature will eventually lower. Perhaps, instead of being so condescending you should consider the fact that global warming is not a FACT but instead an idea propagated in order to gain power, i.e, liberals. Do you not think that the money spent on reducing carbon emissions could be used to feed starving children or pay for immunizations and medication for people in the developing world? I geuss a .7 degree increase in temperature is more important than that, right?

Do you ever aska question that doesn't already have an answer attached? Have to bust on you, its all in fun! Extreme weather issues have always occurred naturally on our planet (i.e. ice age). However, ignoring our responsibilities is a fool's quest. I will admit to not being extremely up to date on GW. I do know its been an issue fought probably since I was born or before. I'm a bit skeptical on GW. However, smog DOES exist. Pollution DOES exist. Don't believe that then tell me where the Detroit skyline is :) Is this an issue I'm overly concerned with. No. Not compared to providing for my family. Sorry.

Where do we get the global cooling theory? We remember it. It was just as hyped as GW.

If it gets warm, there ain't a whole hell of a lot we can do about it. Alaska used to have a very temperate climate - we're still in the throws of the last Ice Age.

"Alaskans for global warming!" - local bumper sticker

"Coldest state - hottest governor!" - sexist, but funny - and true. Sarah Palin is very pretty.

Edit - OMG You are too funny. Yes, Republicans hate children. In fact, I have to run.....it's my turn to put the babies on pikes tonight.

We are definitely warming and that has been proven by scientist. Only a small minority believe its no big deal. And it is all related to pollution but we have people who make a living polluting and they don't want it to change but it will have to change. I live out in the country and we never had noticeable smog until the last few years and now I see it everyday and it is getting worse. Pollution can be cut drasticly and in some cases in just a simple way, like putting filters on the coal plant stacks or useing algae technology on the pollution, fuel for vehicles is a problem and we will have to end the use of gasoline and diesel and go to biofuels and electric vehicles, some will tell you that electric won't work but that is propaganda, We can solve the problems but we will need leaders who actually want to make the changes.

I am telling you manbearpig exists. Really!! No seriously!! I am not kidding!! I seen it! Beware manbearpig is warming the earth. Humans need to go so manbearpigs can run wild. I saw a great picture of Al gore, at the north pole unloading an ice truck with only help from penguins and polar bears. Cracked me the hell up! Beware, manbearpig will get us all eventually. Maybe if we elect manbearpig he wont get us! Damn I am soooooooo cold, manbearpig warm me up please.

It is just a normal cycle of warming and cooling, IT HAPPENS. If Tesla's experiments and inventions weren't held from us we would all have free clean energy. The oil industry is behind the global warming, better pay them your GREEN tax, you know, so they can help us get rid of manbearpig for good. LMAO

Hey I recycle, I want a Nobel peace prize. I was robbed by manbearpig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a link to that pic of Gore dropping off ice at the north pole. ROFL http://groups.yahoo.com/group/chemtrailsNWO/

It's not man-made, 30 years ago it was "global cooling". We'll cool back down, then heat back up. It's just the way it is. I think that we can conserve a little though. There's no need to trash the place we live but I don't think that global warming is man made.

Man has lived through a number of ice ages. The world's climate is always changing and always has.

You'll hear from the Chicken Littles of the world about the glaciers that are receding, but you'll never hear them mention the other glaciers that are growing at the same time elsewhere, because it doesn't fit their agenda.
