It depends on the school and the budget for sports and the amount of energy they put into their Sprts Dept. If they are into it the band goes by bus. If not too into it they may let the other teams band play at away games. Also depends on the music program at your school. How they spend their money. Ask them to be sure if that is what you want .

No, ours doesn't. The home school band plays at home games. Our band does, however, go to competitions which are away. Sometimes far, far away.

I was in the marching band at my high school. We went to every single road game during my 4 years, even to one in a neighboring state.
