My two cents:
I know that people have issues with grammar. I have even seen English teachers get a bit lazy and write some pretty crummy sentences. My problem is the fact that people have NO idea how to spell things. Lite is only used in marketing to describe something that is low in calories. If you mean light as in not heavy or like sun light, then spell it light. If you know something, then it's know, not noe. I don't really even have an issue with shortening things. I can clearly tell that u is meant to be you. That makes sense, but these words that keep blantanly popping up spelled incorrectly despite spell check drive me nuts.

Yes, my spelling and grammar is far from perfect but some things I see on here are horrible.
I can't believe anyone would post without even reading it first.
I think we are going to have a generation of kids that not only cannot do math because of calculators but cannot spell or write because of computers and spell check.
At my son's school ( he is 7) we were told that they were not going to have weekly spelling tests because they were unnecessary and took up too much time. My 13 year old, sorry to say, has a hard time spelling even simple words and no one at the schools really seem to notice. It is outrageous!

I hear you, it's annoying, but some mistakes do happen when people try to write too fast. For instance you spelled grammar correctly the first time, but the second time you spelled it grammer. Honest mistake. I agree with you. I agree w/u...

You bet I'm tired of it. It would appear that language skills aren't emphasized in schools anymore. I've had people here tell me they had university degrees and their grammar looked like a fourth grader's. In my opinion, if you are going to interact with others in a forum such as this then proper grammar and spelling are a courtesy. If you want to send your subanthropomorphic friends with language like that then keep it off the internet.

In your first sentence you should have had a comma between "thing" and "they". Your second sentence was a run on sentence, and your last sentence is incomplete. "Does anyone else feel this way?" would have been better.
See everyone makes mistakes, and I'm sure I have a mistake or two in my answer as well.

I am tired of it too. Some questions don't even make sense. Like it's in incomplete sentences. You can see when you are typing on here if you are making a mistake. I don't know why people don't fix the mistakes.

it truly is how the immature childrens are. i favor to inform them something. Like one time this female stated "i favor to sneak out blah blah blah.. help?" and that i defined to her that one time this boy sneaked out from his domicile, left the window open, and a guy went contained in the domicile by using that window and murdered all his relatives, the youngster did not discover out til the morning at the same time as he wondered why no individual 'were given up'. Boy, did his existence get ruined.

YES! I can't stand when people misspell things! I'm a really good speller and in school I used to correct the teacher!

I do find it very annoying. Perhaps people do not realize that a spell check is available, it would be so easy to use it. Glad you asked your question, it might help.
