They are winning tonight on experience. It's only the first game. But as a Red Sox fan, I have to feel confident about tomorrow night. Cleveland is firing back with another top line starter tomorrow night, but Schilling is one of the greatest post-season pitchers of all time.

Cleveland still worries me--they seem like the type of team that could get blown out tonight, then go catch their bearings and remember what they are capable of. But my predictions as a New England Sports fan are that by Monday morning, the Sox are up 2-0 and the Patriots are fresh off smacking the Cowboys by two touchdowns.

I think it is both.

Boston is a great team and has been there and done that.

Clevland is still young and has a lot to learn ( and are doing that right now).

I pick Boston to win this year, but, the boys in cleveland will be a team to beat in the future.

It just definitely a good night for Boston. Its cold out and they are hot.October is their month to swing the bats.I hope it continues throughout this series.Beckett will get the job done early and get to rest up if the series does go longer than 4 or 5.We may see Sabathia again too you just can't tell. I know Cleveland didn't get here by playing like tonight.

boston is winning with experience..

Edit: Frizzer.. So that doesnt mean a thing.. The red sox have been winning all year too.. Boston has more experience with better pitching and offense than the indians do..

It's only one game tonight and the Indians have been winning all year. Both teams have experienced and very good young players that can beat you with one swing of the bat. Rather than speculate why not wait until the series is over and evaluated the teams at that time.

boston is winning with experience, almost every player has postseason experience and they're using it to win games.
