These women give us women a bad rap. The guys all google over them when we're here just being normal and trying to diet like crazy to look like the girls they are oogling over. I think that that is why so many girls have eating disorders. Did anyone ever hear of eating disorders in the 60's? 70's? What about the 50's? There wans't so much attention paid upon the body back then like there is now. I have a very poor body image myself and I just feel like nothing when I see these women. Plus porn is a big problem too. Big boobs are everywhere. The plastic surgery industry has boomed. Even plastic surgery TV shows! I think TV needs to be censored. Even the words they use on TV now adays is horrible. Why does the public put up with this? Because they like it. They are just as bad as the people on TV.

"Men: do you and would you date chubbier females? And do you find it difficult to find chubbier women who are attractive?" It depends on what she's like. If I had to choose between a chubby girl that I really like and is intelligent, or a dumb girl with amazing good looks that annoys me, I'd go with the chubby girl any day. Although about the stereotype about them being easy, to be honest they kind of are more often than not. At least in my experience. By easy I don't mean they can be used as sex objects then thrown aside, I just mean that they tend to be more welcoming of flirting or sexual advances. For example, a chubby girl is far more likely to enjoy getting smacked on the butt by a guy (even if she doesn't admit it, but it just shows on her face..) than a slim girl. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. If anything it's probably good lol. I'm just saying that's what I've come across.

this is a huge subject...just look at how many people have responded to this and all the convos being talked about it. it's true... i'm skinny but i have a bigger belly than people imagine... its not huge but slightly bigger than i would like, and a lot of media is involved in making me feel this way. i am a very active person and i do sit-ups everyday, run every couple days, at least once a week, mostly 2 or 3 times and i play sports often but nothing seems to help the belly fat. i am depressed a lot when i think about this but there's really nothing i can do but keep on excercising. my point is that if there were no media, i wouldn't feel so pressured to be super skinny... i am pretty skinny already except for belly fat

I remember sometime about 1992 - Ted Turner of Turner Broadcasting had made several statements regarding making skinny the Way.
He even changed the type of cattle he would raise from "fat cows", to Charlets, because they didn't have a fat butt."
He is the Man...He did it.
Obesity is probably partially caused by all of the growth hormones put into foods. (When does the growing stop?) and it is very unhealthy.
Thin is only natural in a small segment of humans, the rest is forced and not based on reality.

Not only that, but as soon as they put on a few well needed pounds the media and critics go crazy saying they are fat and need to lose weight. It's so disgusting and what is even more disgusting is that you see young kids on here all the time and they are always asking questions like "how do I stop eating?" "How do I weigh 90 lbs?". They compare themselves to these people. It is very sad.

I sure agree and they have been such a bad influence on the teens. The 90 # girls want to know if they are fat.
When women were really sexy in Marilyn Monroe days, they had meat on their bones. NOT bones showing. Who wants to hug bones?

I'm skinny and I don't want people looking down on me because I'm skinny and I'm "making their children have eating disorders" i've just got a fast metabolism. I think skinny girls are cute(some of them), but there is a difference in there being one cute skinny girl and everyone being cute skinny girls
It is ridiculous how everyone on television is extremely skinny. whenever there is a girl who isn't skinny she is always like the dork or the girl who wants to be in the "in crowd." I really don't like it. That's not the way it is in real life at all.

You tell it how it is! When will the media learn that everybody is beautiful and weight doesn't matter? I'm so sick of girls trying to lose weight just to be considered attractive or pretty. Your gorgeous no matter what you look like ladies!!
Thanks for asking this question and getting people to understand that this society is really screwed up. ;)

I am tired of females calling their overweight bodies "curvy". If you have such a fat layer that there is not visible muscle tone, you are too fat. Notice Beyonce and J-Lo aren't with fattie guys?
