No, they were all born with common sense

But most have their heads buried in the radio and smear politics.

That has dumbed them down.

They let others do their thinking for them, and they believe, verbatim what they are told.

Talk show and smear politics depends on them not looking up the truth.

If they did, like I did years ago, would turn them from smear groupies into human beings that can form an opinion not based on what they are told to say.

In another words, regain their common sense.

Sure this earth is warming, but back inn the 70's it was cooler than today. The Viking sagas describe continental style agriculture....
...in Greenland. The earth's temperature fluctuates based on many many things, humans are only a tiny portion of that.

The whole Carbon credit thing is a scam. It's like saying I can beat my kids if I pay money to fund child protection classes.

Anyway, trees actually cause warming, not cooling. They absorb more heat and warm the area around them far more than the loss of CO2 cools an area; argue with this and you're arguing with climatology and an ocenography proffessors who taught me that.

Umm, dissenting opinion is the basis of moderbn science. You need an argument, and than you need to test it and than question you're results. Science can't prove anything, it can only find evidence in support of things. That's how modern scientific investigation works.

Calling those who believe they've found flaws in a theory "retarded" is a flawed approach. The dissenting arguments should be listened to and investigated. The day dissenting voices are squelched in scienctific studies is the day science has become a religious faith.

If GOper represents the view of the Republican Party we are really in trouble.

Human impact upon the climate is well documented. The rise in the level of atmospheric CO2 comes from the release of sequestered carbon by the burning of fossil fuels.

While it is true that the total CO2 exhaled by all animal life on the earthy is a large amount this carbon is essentially in equilibrium by way of a process known as the Carbon Cycle. Green plants take in CO2 from the atmosphere and that which is dissolved in water and through the process of photosynthesis produce energy for growth. As a by-product oxygen is produced. Most people learn this in the fifth grade. I guess this documents that the GOP is NOT smarter than a fifth grader.

I think the consensus is misguided. Global Warming is something that can and does happen in geologic time. There is to much evidence to deny that. What I have a problem with is how much humans have an effect. I personally think our resources should be put towards preparing for it rather than trying to stop it.

The day I see all you man-made, global warming hypocrites riding your bikes to work, not living in big homes or using electricity, or heating your home, you'll convince me that it's something that needs to be thought about--maybe. Until then, you are having so much smoke being blown up your rear end that that alone should cause you concern as to why you are so plain retarded.
The earth has been warmer than it is now, it's been colder than it is now. It was warmer than it is now back in the '70s.
Wake up, push aside the Kool Aid and try sipping on warm cup of reality

NO. I'm not retarded. I just know that the earth heats and cools itself periodicly. I often ask people who believe in global warming where they think the ICE AGE came from. Its the cycle of the globe. People don't realize that the earth is SO FREAKIN BIG. And that we are small. Its just what the earth does to itself. Its not our fault.

I think the problem is that so many times scientists discover their claims to be unfounded after years of research. All I know is, the average temperature fluxuating over a couple degrees drawn out over decades doesn't exactly make me want to move to the north pole so I can avoid being burned alive.

Sorry no. Btw, I'd like to congratulate you on being one of the few libs I've seen here on YA that can actually spell retarded correctly.

and if you so believe in Global Warming, you should stop BREATHING out CO2. you are now killing the earth.

STOP BREATHING.....

What happened to that "Global Cooling" theory 20+ years ago????? Was it because Al Gore had not invented the internet??

Just looked at rhm5550 then I know Democrats are retarded. Over population is not the problem of Global Warming then I got nothing to say.

No because Global Warming is a bunch of bull; a theory proposed by environmentalists so they'll get attention from they're "parents", the government.

I've heard a better theory. Ask me about it.
