The colonel was furious. "Can you believe it? They actually drew their weapons on U.S. soldiers." He was describing a 2006 car accident, in which an SUV full of Blackwater operatives had crashed into a U.S. Army Humvee on a street in Baghdad's Green Zone. The colonel, who was involved in a follow-up investigation and spoke on the condition he not be named, said the Blackwater guards disarmed the U.S. Army soldiers and made them lie on the ground at gunpoint until they could disentangle the SUV.

If these allegations are true, then by god they need to be removed and charged with crimes. The soldiers I know have never had this kind of issue with Blackwater, each has shown respect for the other. It could be a few Wyatt Earps who have given the impression that it is the group as a whole. Every firm that deals with security has the rouge idiots that appeared to be a good hire but the real colors came out after they were on the job.

Blackwater was a subsidiary of Halliburton. Does that explain anything? Blackwater is a mercenary group that shouldn't be used in conjunction with our troops. They've placed our troops in danger with their gunslinging ways.

that's rediculous...

the colonel should have taken a couple of hundred soldiers to meet the small group of Blackwater and return the favor...

where in this story did it say that either the President or VP approved of this? Blackwater is a private security company, hired by the State Dept and approved by the Congress's GAO. Ask harry Reid why they were approved?

The Neocon sheep will do anything their evil shepards tell them to do.
