Can you soak bearings in canola oil??

what will happen?....will they go faster?

You can soak anything in anything. The question is whether you should or not. In the case of steel bearings, they don't soak. They sit in whatever you put them in and are coated by it.

My guess is that no food oil is going to be good for bearings used in machinery. Unless you intend to 'cook' them...and you will.

no they wont they will be well oiled that's all and it wont stick to them long it's to thin
