Or plays like a moron (a la Nik Antropov) and gets lots of penalty minutes?

Aside from Belak. He's not getting any game time, let alone ice time.

Chris, as I've said before, Antropov's as useless as a ti't on a nun.
Bass: don't really care if they don't answer my question to a d-man enforcer. Just need a d-man who takes tons of penalties.

Most of you are not answering the question. Which was can you name a defensman who is an enforcer. Not scorers or talents. Murray does not fit that role concidering he only has 80 penalty mins. in a 72 lifetime games. Sutton absolutely fits that role in that he has 798 minutes in 437 games. He's 6'6" 245lbs. of meanness, and is aways thrashing someone. I don't think any of the other names mentioned fit that role today.

Belak when he has a chance to get tin the lineup..does Luke Richardson count? McCabe takes alot of untimely penalties as well.

LOL - Belak is as much a defenseman as Tie Domi in reality. What a waste of roster space.

Alain Nassredine from the Pittsburgh Penguins (although he's starting this season with the Baby Pens in Scranton). Not much of a defenseman, but he can throw down and box with the best of them.

Douglas Murray from San Jose appears to be filling that role for San Jose just fine this year.
@ssrod - Notice how I ended my sentence with "this year." Lighten up, oh wise one.
