Actually, i worked out with a trainer for almost 2 years and gained weight up to 150 pounds. But I stopped because I felt restricted as if my body frame couldnt support the muscle or something. Then one time I sprained my ankle while playing basketball and lost all my weight.

Nothing wrong with getting yourself checked out. It could be a thyroid problem. On the other hand we are all made differently. Until I was 38, I was unable to go higher than 135 pounds, even though I ate like a pig! Because of a health problem around that time that slowed me down, I have since gone up to about 180.
Do you have a nervous disposition? I mean, do you always have to be moving, and moving fast?

No need to seek advice. You just have a fast metabolism. Just go back to weight lifting and eating more. I have the same problem, only I'm 5'8 but weigh 140 (Gained 15 pounds but lost it after not working out for 3 months). The key is to weight lift so you will feel more hungry and therefore eat more.

Same here man. i float between 140-145 i'm 5'9" and 23. I have been that same height and weight since I was 14.
I have had a couple doctors tell me i wont gain much weight ever. I have tried eating nothing but junk, eating good food, working out, not working out, smoking cigs, not smoking cigs. lol

Nah.... not unless you are actually LOSING weight. Just eat more protein and starches. Work out, since muscle weighs more than fat. Drink one or two Boost or Ensure protein drinks per day. Also, you are only 20, so you are still developing.
