I can’t read the word but if you go to this dictionary website:
http://mw1.merriam-webster.com/
You can check it out yourself and even hear the word pronounced…
And if you want to save it as an audio file… To turn into a ring tone or computer sound, you just need to:
Click the little speaker symbol so that the pop up window opens
Look at the bottom of the window for the “Listen with your default audio player” link
Right click
“Save Target As”
And save to your desk top to use forever…
My computer swears at me like the most foul-mouthed Teamster!! (I LOVE IT!)
If it is a word, this website will have it…

Sparky, do you have any idea how many four letter words there are in the English Language???
If it is the biggy, it is an acronym.
For
Unlawful
Carnal
Knowledge.
The first letter of the four words were written on the stocks when an offender was punished for rape in the Puritan Days.
The Scarlett Letter was used in a similar fashion. The offense was different as was the punishment but only the first letter of the word "Adulteress" was used.
BTW, you could try looking it up yourself. Then you wouldn't be at the mercy of people like me who may or may not give you a correct answer.

Um, do you mean the "f-word"? It means to have sex, and has other connotations and uses besides. I recommend going to wikipedia.org and entering it as your search term; you'll get an objective article that explains in more detail.
And yes, it's in dictionaries. Good ones, anyway.

I would have ignored this if someone hadn't used the acronym, which is absolutely false.
http://www.wordorigins.org/index.php/site/comments/****/
Replace the four asterisks in the URL with the "f-word" to find the origin. And it's not an acronym of any kind.
