No they don't notice, I put my husband to the test. We were going to a party and I asked my friend if I could bring a change of clothes as I wanted to prove my point, that he never takes that much notice. So earlier in the day I whipped round to her house where the party was, left my change of clothes and asked her to let everyone know that it's an experiment for the university I was attending.
I got dressed up and came down the stairs and asked "well what do you think", he said about what , I replied never mind. We had been at the party TWO HOURS, when I went upstairs to change, I came back down and lots of people looked but didn't say anything nor did my husband.
The following day my friend called around with the original outfit I went to the party in, and he turned to me and said "hmm, been buying clothes again". So no they do not notice, unless you are in the buff.

Well we've heard from the younger section, but as a mature male (53) it is with the greatest interest that I notice each fragrant scent of your perfume/cologne. Sometimes a 'musk' is a must. And earrings are really neat to compare personalities of different woman or what mood they're in that night.
I had three sisters so I saw the routine many times. And I have a sister that' a hair & fashion designer and listening to her suggest things to other woman was an awakening for me even in my 20's.
All that hard work you do on your eyes and lips; its like 'candy' to my eyes and lips. (I'm taking about mature woman now.) Not too much, but blended just right and to accentuate their underlying beauty. You just keep on going girls; we do notice, after a certain age. I was in my 20's when I truly noticed what a woman was doing with her 'look', her 'elan', if you will. I knew enough to ask my sister to do my wife's makeup on our wedding day. She'd have been nervous and put on too much. I was 28 when I got married.

Spending a lot on clothes is a HUGE waste of money, because guys couldn't care less! Christian Louboutin or Keds - it's all the same to them.
Yes, if you wear a tight top or a short skirt, they notice, but who wants to be noticed for that?
This lady said it best back in 1798:
"It would be mortifying to the feelings of many ladies, could they be made to understand how little the heart of man is affected by what is costly or new in their attire..." -Jane Austen

I'll be happy to chime in here. It's all in the mind. In my opinion. If a guy meets a girl and both are available, then I believe he will remember what she's wearing because his mind is in a mode to notice somethings that's pleasing to him. On the other hand, if he's preoccupied by something else, anything else, he's not likely to remember something that he might find to be trivial at that moment. It doesn't mean he doesn't ever notice, it's just that at that moment his mind could be somewhere else.

Yes, I notice what my girl friend wears. Occasionally other people too. Mostly the only thing I notice in other girls is a change in hair or something like that.

Yeah I guess so, coz I went to work one day and the ladies there said morning to but the guys said morning and also said nice jeans with a huge smile.....
maybe girls don't really like complimenting other female coz they wish themselves that they look half as good as you....
But for guys it does not matter as long as you bring out those curves....

It depends on the person and their clothing. I think if the guy cared about looks they might see a hot girl and pay attention but they may not pay too much attention to the wallflower type girl.
check this out.... since people are so into looks and all...I think its a good statement ;)
"its not what she wore or said ... its how she made you feel"

Wrong!!
OK, actually, we would notice, really notice, if you were wearing nothing; that, would make us really happy.
How ever, if you look good with anything on, the better.
Now, we don't say it because, ...
Yes, we would like to get inside your panties, but -subconcsiensly- know that we would look kind of ridiculus in them. We wold not bring out the good in the material....
