Maybe you didn't phrase the question the way you intended but here is my answer:
Getting an education in your youth is important.
Having kids at a young age is not "important" - it is a very bad idea and prevents you from completing your education.

I think that is completely dependent on the person. I work with teenage foster youth and more than 60% of them become parents 1-2 years after they leave care. They have no support and can barely care for them selves. Also, most people make little money without a college degree making it harder to support your child but some people are great parents at a young age.
My parents were in their 30's when they had me and niether of them completed college, and they weren't any better than they would have been if they were young.
I would like to see more people going to school and getting educated before having kids, but the ration seems to go the other way.

Getting an education. It is tough to go back. Kids when you are too young is just kids raising kids. I think the tradtional finish education, choose between kids and career is about the right age. Putting off the kids to do a career seems to push it too much, but my parents were 31 & 33 when they had me and 3 years older when my sister came along.

If you are willing to accept an answer from someone who is no longer an adolescent . . .
The route I took was to get an education first, then to have children. For me, it was a better route, because it gave me more options, both in my choice of education, and as a mother (greater ability to have a more flexible schedule, for better pay; ability to have the career of my choosing, rather than having to take any job just to support my child and to make ends meet, etc).
Overall, remember that while an education may take several years, once you are done with school, it is truly done. Once you have children, you have them forever!
Good luck with your decision.

First get an education. With an education you are more likely to get a good paying steady job. With that you will be able to provide a better life for your children, when you are ready to have them!

That totally depends........who you talk to. Maybe getting an education early on and then having kids after if that is what you choose? You can always to both!
