I do think it's wrong. Yuo are probally to young to make a desion like this to even have sex. Pregnancy with your cousin or not, you shouldn't because you have a future ahead. Live life then get married then think about sex. Also, cousins probally have just alittle increase in chance of abornatity's. And which are usually sicknesses. Good luck and hope you make the right decision.

I had two of my first cousins fall in love with each other. They were older and didn't have children. It didn't last. There is really too much involved in that type of relationship. The reason you're asking is because subconsciously you know it's wrong. We were programmed not to be attracted to relatives in that way for a reason. Do yourself, and him, a favor. Let your love for each other just stay family oriented. You'll find another that kisses just as good as he does, maybe even better. I promise.

Its illegal for a reason. Humans are not meant to recieve two copies of the same chromosome, it causes severe birth defects in some case. Just watch The Hills Have Eyes, maybe that will change your mind.

I don't recommend it and would definitely NEVER do it but it's your business. I don't think your kid would be deformed and in some cultures, family is only allowed to marry close family members so I don't think your child will suffer much genetically. However, you should check if it is legal in your state and you should also think about your family and how they would react to this kind of relationship. Good luck to you.

No, it's definitely not okay. If you got pregnant, your baby would be extremely deformed, due to the serious close relations. Sorry bout that...looks like you gotta find another good kisser =(

It's wrong , and as far as children being deformed. The blood line is to close, you are two sibling children, genetic traits etc. Find a young man who's not a relative.

How old are you both?
Personally, I don't think first cousins in a relationship is that big of a deal- if you were raised apart and didn't really have that cousinly relationship in the first place. It's a little different if you were raised in a close family and grew up as cousins, that would be a lot more weird.
As someone who as studied genetics and actually has researched things like this, I can tell you that first cousins are not really at any greater risk (not enough to matter, really) for having a baby with genetic defects than any non related couple.
I know you can't always help who you fall in love with, but you can decide whether or not to actually ACT on those feelings. It's up to you to decide if it's worth social ostricization and possibly alienating your family members who might disapprove of this relationship.
My ex-husband's sister once dated her first cousin and was engaged to him for awhile. They researched what states first cousins could marry in - there is a handful of states that do allow first cousins to marry, and once you're married in one state, you're married in all the rest (unless you're in a same sex marriage, of course, freakin' hypocritical laws. . . )
Good luck to you.

When first cousins marry, the probability of recessive genes appearing is increased, which means more spontaneous abortions. God already aborts more babies than he allows to come to term, so it's not as big a deal as it might seem.
The chance of a deformed kid is very low. And sometimes, those recessive genes are for very desirable traits.
If you decide to go ahead, be *very* secretive about it. There are many places in this country where they would take your kid away from you and sterilize you.

I think that it would be ok to date or kiss him. However having kids with him would be dangerous to that child's health. Though others may argue it is totally up to your heart.
