Im 21 male and right now I want to just buy a suit now so that i won't need to when i have an interview coming up and i dont have to do any last minute shopping. I will go and get job interviews in the accounting field.

If i had to choose one suit color, what would it be? A lot of people mentioned navy blue but almost all of my friends have black suits. I thought black suits was a bit too serious and should be avoided.

So what color suit should i buy? I also want to wear a light blue dress shirt. What color tie would be best? I will be
wearing black shoes.

if you don't really want the black then go for the navy blue.
a dark grey would also be nice. you could probably find a tie with a mix of the same blue as shirt and grey or same blue and navy.
burgundy always looks sharp with the grey too, but you might have to change the shirt color.

I think the proper entire for business world is commonly black suit, white shirt and black tie. However, once you have setteled into a job, I think the suit color won't matter. I have seen males in my company wearing gray suits, with colored shirts and uniform colored tie. So I guess just go with black.

i would do a black suit - it works well for somber moments and just change it up with a brightly colored shirt for happier occassions. You can also do a blue shirt with tie for the interview.

if you dont want plain black, look for one with a pin stripe in it.
Another option to think of is a deep olive green. The hubby wears suits to his work - he has 2 black ones, one blue one, a dark green one, and one grey one. Another thing he does is wears sport coats frequently - he has a creamy kahki colored one that looks well with suit pants or more casual dockers of all colors.

bought a suit last year, it was a dark, dark blue with moderate pin strips, not enough to jump out and slap you in the face for looking at it, just enough at a short distance you could tell it wasn't a solid color, suit goes well with many different colors of shirts. use of black shoes, belt, socks, and tie work with shirt also.even bought a blue shirt(which is what i picked out when selecting the suit)purchased at dillards.

that dude up there was right, girls do dig those brightly colored [haha lime green] suits. but thinking that they are probably very hard to find, we can go for a black suit with stripes. and yeah, i know it does look too over-the-top, but seriously, you gotta wear jeans underneath. it turns every girl on if you wear a suit on top of jeans. you probably wouldn't do what i'm about to say, but you should wear a shirt with words or a simple design underneath. look at this picture. it is such an amazing style!! http://amitpaul.org/pic/amitshow.jpg

medium to dark grey. its professional, sophistcated, adult and serious without being morbid. if you find a proper grey suit with blue undertones, you will be able to match a bunch of different shirts to it. Just keep in mind to look in the mirror before you leave the house and if you ahve time "along the way" find another mirror that might tell more of the truth"...

good luck, I;m certain you'll look great!
